We are delighted to provide you with the latest update on the progress of Greendale Garden Cemetery as of July 2023. Since our last update in February, significant milestones have been achieved, marking substantial progress towards our goal of offering a serene and sustainable final resting place in Bringelly.

Over the past six months, we have completed the construction of entrances, driveways, burial areas, and onsite offices, enhancing accessibility and functionality across the cemetery grounds.

In our commitment to preserving natural landscapes, we brought in ecology consultants to develop a comprehensive vegetation management plan. Additionally, engaged landscape architects to ensure that the ecological integrity of the site is maintained with extensive landscaping efforts underway to foster biodiversity and create a peaceful environment that honours both the deceased and their families.

Our newly appointed CEO has been tasked with the development of procedures, policies and systems required to ensure that the cemetery can launch effectively and operate smoothly.

Greendale Garden Cemetery continues to work to address the critical need for burial space in Greater Sydney. We are proud to offer a dignified and environmentally conscious option for end-of-life arrangements, contributing positively to the community.

As we approach the anticipated opening in the second half of 2024, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters and stakeholders who have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life.
