Celebrating Our Grand Opening: A New Chapter at Greendale Garden Cemetery

On October 15th, we held our grand opening with a special ceremony, marking an important moment in our mission to provide a peaceful and eco-friendly resting place for families in New South Wales.

Our grand opening was filled with a strong sense of community as we welcomed guests and dignitaries from the local community and beyond. The mayor of Liverpool, Clr Ned Mannoun welcomed the project as fulfilling a need and congratulated us on being the first new cemetery to open its gates in NSW in over 50 years.

We are proud to be the first cemetery in New South Wales to combine traditional lawn burials with eco-friendly practices.

This fresh approach reflects the changing values of our community, allowing families to choose sustainable burial options that not only respect cultural traditions but also minimise environmental impact.

During the ceremony, guests had the chance to walk around the ground and see our sample grave site. The feedback we received was very positive, and we are grateful for the warm support of our community as we step into this exciting new chapter.
